Bringing your hire car back at the end of your North Cyprus holiday is usually just a case of dropping it off at Ercan airport or our offices at the agreed time. Returning your hire car on time not only helps you plan your final day of holiday, but also enables us to clean, inspect and have the car ready for the next customer in good time.

However, we know occasionally you can be delayed in returning your hire car, so we give you a generous 4-hour grace period, in which we won't charge you for the late return. If you return your car more than 4 hours after the agreed time, we will charge you an extra day's rental.

Returning Your Pacific Rent A Car on Time

Here are a few tips on how to make sure you return your hire car on time:

1. The day before you leave North Cyprus, check the car for any personal possessions, take them out, and pack them in your luggage. Every year we 'inherit' numerous pairs of sunglasses, guide books, and even cameras and mobile phones left by their owners in our cars. By the time we find them, the owners are usually on the plane back to the UK, and regrettably we cannot post any lost items back to you.

2. Leave extra time to return your North Cyprus hire car to us. It doesn't take very long - about 10 minutes max - but if you're rushing to catch a flight, it seems a long time. Also allow for any traffic or road works on the journey back - and a little time to find a parking space in the car park during busy summer change-over days.

3. Make sure you are returning the car with the appropriate amount of petrol. If you have bought our 20.00 GBPtank of petrol, you can return it as empty as you like. Otherwise, please return the car with the same amount of petrol in it as when you picked it up, and allow extra time to top up the tank en route.
