STEP BY STEP PROCEEDURE FOR TAKING THE HIRE CAR TO SOUTH CYPRUS:

1- Purchase the permission paper from us, this will cost you £50.00. (the permission paper will only allow you to drive the car through the Turkish border to the Greek border)

2- This Permission paper is to be shown to the officer at the Turkish border.

3- Once you have crossed the Turkish border, you will arrive at the Greek border, where you will need to show your passports and purchase Greek Insurance and Road Tax needed to drive in South Cyprus, this will cost 25 Euros (subject to change)

4- Purchase the insurance and Road Tax from the Greek Border offices**

5- Start driving in South Cyprus.

**please note, the Greek offices are only located on the Metehan Border in Nicosia, and are only open till 14:00 on weekdays, and are closed during the Greek national holidays. You will not be allowed to drive in South Cyprus if you do not purchase the necessary paperwork, so please make sure you plan your holiday accordingly. Pacific Rentals will not be held responsible if, for any reason, you are not able to cross the border.

Once the car crosses the border to South Cyprus, it will no longer be fully insured by Pacific Rentals. You will need to purchase insurance at the Greek Border, which will only be 3rd Party Insurance. The 3rd Party insurance you purchase will not cover the hire car. Please make sure you read the terms of the insurance you purchase at the border.
